Network Engineering - Circuit Manager

Are you ready to drive team results as a Network Engineer - Circuit Manager? Antero Technology Services is looking for a proactive person with a TS/SCI clearance to join our Network Operations Team. Your team provides highly available enterprise network services including voice, video, and data to a global population. You will be responsible for the overall management of the customer's enterprise-wide Authorized Service Interruption (ASI) program.  You’ll manage network projects, scheduling, and circuit maintenance/outage reporting communications. Your efforts will help provide optimal network services in a real-time mission-critical global enterprise with thousands of end points and flag level customers.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage projects with a focus on networking or IT infrastructure projects
  • Create and maintain circuit specs, dependencies, and vendor information in a database
  • Prepare and maintain master schedules for circuit maintenance and planned projects
  • Identify and track risks to overcome potential challenges
  • Create and publish planned maintenance and unplanned outage broadcast communications
  • Track and update work orders as necessary
  • Work with network engineers and site leaders to develop new services and capacities
  • Coordinate communications to enable multi-team and multi-site collaboration
  • Prepare and track circuit order and delivery information
  • Coordinate with circuit installations, changes, and disconnects with vendors
  • Develop contingency plans for planned upgrade projects
  • Provide senior Customer-level reporting of maintenance, outages, and project status
  • Participate in performance improvement projects
  • Collaborate with peer support teams including Service Desk, Infrastructure Operations, Cyber Operations, and Watch Officers

What you’ll need to have

  • 8570 IAT Level II Certification (typically Security+)
  • TS/SCI with CI Poly, or willingness and ability to be cleared
  • High School+12 years; Bachelor’s+8; Master’s+6
  • Experience creating network maps and dependency diagrams
  • Experience building and maintaining large scale circuit management databases
  • Experience with cryptographic systems (TACLANE, key management, TEMPEST)
  • Experience using ticketing systems for outage management, work orders, and information requests
  • Experience planning and coordinating circuit management projects
  • Experience with WAN technologies, routing protocols, and circuit interfaces
  • Experience supporting large enterprise or global network operations
  • Engaging communications style with customers, peers, and support teams
