VoIP/VTC Technician

Are you ready to grow as a VoIP/VTC Technician? Antero Technology Services is looking for a proactive person with a TS/SCI clearance to join our Network Operations Team. Your team provides multiple highly available services including voice, video teleconferencing, video streaming broadcasts, and other communications services. You’ll ensure stability of services and optimal user experience in a real-time mission-critical global enterprise with thousands of end points and flag level customers.

What you’ll be doing

  • Network Operations Team monitors 24x365; you might support either Days, Swings, or Nights
  • Operate Cisco Call Manager, VC Wizard, Multipoint Control Unit (MCU), Telepresence Management System (TMS) and various other Unified Communications (UC) tools
  • Manage resource availability and conflicts for Video Services
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve operating/hardware network problems of VTC systems and applications as they pertain to the UC environment
  • Leverage your knowledge of operating systems and applications as they pertain to the UC environment
  • Interface with vendors to ensure proper performance of tools and software packages
  • Process Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI's) as directed by Management
  • Provide After Action Reports (AARs) for Problem Management resolution

What you’ll need to have

  • 8570 IAT Level II Certification (typically Security+)
  • TS/SCI with CI Poly, or willingness and ability to be cleared
  • High School+9 years; Bachelor’s+5; Master’s+3
  • Experience with VTC service and support to include scheduling, monitoring, administrative support, and technical assistance to customers
  • Experience configuring VTC equipment such as Cisco Telepresence Management Suite, CUBE/VCS, CODECs and MCUs.
  • Knowledge and problem solving relating to network topology, protocols, and UC services
  • Engaging communications style with customers, peers, and support teams
