Are you ready to grow as a Cybersecurity Firewall Systems Engineer? Antero Technology Services is looking for a proactive person with a TS/SCI clearance to join our Cyber Team. Your team provides high-assurance cybersecurity services to protect a Federal mission-critical infrastructure.  You’ll design and maintain cybersecurity firewall systems, including deployment, integration, tuning, and patching of your tools.  You’ll develop process scripting and application health monitoring automation to make your systems robust and reliable across the global enterprise.

What you’ll be doing

• Work in a team of cybersecurity and network experts to support an enterprise service-provider network that securely connects over 50,000 global users on 6 continents with multiple datacenter and cloud services
• Perform system design, testing, deployment, and performance analysis of firewall infrastructure
• Provide consultation and advice to engineers and management regarding work functions, processes, methods, procedures, and tools; develop and deliver technical and process training in areas of expertise and innovative areas of technology
• Be the point of contact with Customers, senior program leadership, and vendors for the purpose of creating and presenting innovative long-term solutions, managing key relationships, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
• Act as a resource to develop solutions or handle the most complex tasks for which existing methods and procedures may not exist

What you’ll need to have

• 8570 IAT Level II Certification (typically Security+)
• Secondary Certification (CEH, CySA+, Cloud+, CND)
• TS/SCI with CI Poly, or willingness and ability to be cleared
• High School+12 years; Bachelor’s+8; Master’s+6
• Well-versed in BGP routing protocol and MPLS networks
• At least 2 years of demonstrated experience with enterprise firewalls (Forcepoint Sidewinder, Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto Next Gen)
• Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
• Experience with SIEM application, Splunk experience is a plus
• Experience with IPS applications (Sourcefire, SNORT, Fortinet, etc.)
• Experience with planning and implementing system upgrades and enhancements
