Are you ready to grow as a Cable Installer? Antero Technology Services is looking for a proactive person with a TS/SCI clearance to join our Enterprise Network Operations Team. Your team provides network services to worldwide customers so they can support mission critical operations. You’ll support local networks at Customer’s site in Anacostia, Washington, DC.  You’ll maintain both fiber optic cable and copper cable from single strand pairs to high-count bulk cables that are used in the infrastructure backbone, underground, outdoor, and horizontal cabling to the desktop or equipment racks.

What you’ll be doing

• Install cabling from transport/wiring closets to the customer access outlet
• Install cabling both under floor and above the ceiling in cable trays, wiring baskets, and harnesses to support equipment racks and data center cabling
• Field terminate copper and fiber cabling using multiple types of connectors and techniques
• Provide cable labeling and configuration documentation
• Successfully terminate, test, and troubleshoot various types of copper and fiber optic connectors
• Assist in the design of cable routing, equipment rooms, transport closets, and points-of-presence

What you’ll need to have

• 8570 IAT Level II Certification (typically Security+)
• TS/SCI with CI Poly, or willingness and ability to be cleared
• High School+2 years minimum experience in creating and maintaining cable installations
• In-depth knowledge of termination equipment, methodologies, and splicing techniques
• Experience labeling and documenting cable distribution paths
• A valid BICSI Installer is a plus!
