Are you ready to grow as a VoIP/VTC System Engineer? Antero Technology Services is looking for a proactive person with a TS/SCI clearance to join our Enterprise Network Engineering Team. Your team engineers multiple highly available services including voice, video teleconferencing, video streaming broadcasts, and other flag level services. You’ll provide complete VoIP, VTC and Unified Communications (UC) services to a mission-critical global enterprise with thousands of end points and users. You’ll take ownership of all UC systems, develop process scripting, and application health monitoring automation to make your systems robust and reliable across the global enterprise.

What you’ll be doing
Provide expert level analysis of voice, video, and integration with data communications networks, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites
Design and deploy UC components including Cisco Call Manager, VC Wizard, Multipoint Control Unit (MCU), Telepresence Management System (TMS) and various other tools
Analyze network topologies for traffic shaping, capacity requirements, and network security policies
Provide Tier 3 troubleshooting support during performance issues and outages
Plan, implement, and test system patches and upgrades of Video and UC hardware and software
Meet with various customers to determine strategic video and telephony needs
Assist in the development of network technical documentation, policies, and procedures
Develop bill of materials for the acquisition of hardware, software, and consulting services when needed
Interface with vendors to review enhancements and new technologies relevant to UC services
What you’ll need to have
8570 IAT Level II Certification (typically Security+)
TS/SCI with CI Poly, or willingness and ability to be cleared
High School+9 years; Bachelor’s+5; Master’s+3
Technical knowledge of video streaming to include set top box and Vbrick
Experience in Voice and Video Engineering, Infrastructure including: Design, Maintenance, Support, Deployment, Implementation, Systems Engineering
Advanced knowledge in Cisco Unified Communications Systems, Cisco Unified Communication Manager, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Voice DR, VoIP, Voice Engineering, Video Conferencing and Collaborative Tools, integrating video into Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Prime Collaboration Cisco Voice and Video Collaboration Systems, Cisco Voice Cluster, Cisco Voice DR
Knowledge and problem solving relating to network topology, protocols, and UC services
Experience with Cisco Data Networking switching and routing relevant to Voice, VoIP, and DVTC
Tandberg and Cisco video devices including end points and Mutli-point Control Units (MCU)s
